How can I join the club?
The best way to join the club is to join our mailing list. This will keep you updated on club activities and resources that we will be providing for members. To join the mailing list, scroll to the bottom of the home page and enter your information in the section titled "Mailing List". Keep an eye on our Instagram, Facebook, and website to stay updated.
When and where do meetings take place?
WICS has bi-weekly meetings every Wednesday from 12:30 to 1:30. Members will be sent a Zoom link through which they can attend meeting and events which will be occurring during online study.
Do I have to be a woman/computer science major to join?
No! All genders and majors are welcome to join WICS and take advantage of the events and resources provided by the club. Not only will members learn more about computer science, they will also get help with interview preparation as well as networking tips!
What activities can I expect from WICS?
Our bi-weekly meetings consist of information about conferences, hackathons, practice for technical interviews to be prepared for internships, and more. We love to give our members opportunities to explore distinct fields of computer science through coding challenges and create group projects in web development, data science, AI, and much more.
